Our Vision For Eliyris
A look at why we're building Eliyris, the problem we're solving, and what comes next.

Eliyris is an intelligent, intent-based search engine built for clothing retailers. Our goal is to help shoppers find exactly what they're looking for using the language and context they naturally think in.
Why We're Building Eliyris
There's a disconnect between how people think about outfits & fashion and how they're expected to search for them online. Shoppers think in moods, aesthetics, references, and occasions. Yet most retail searches still operate around vague filters and broad categories. This gap causes customer frustration, endless scrolling, and lost conversions.
A Problem Worth Solving
After speaking with 50+ shoppers in <1 week, the problem isn't a lack of choice friction in the search process. Shoppers know what they want, but the current system doesn't let them ask for it in their own words. Eliyris is built for retailers with larger catalogs whose inventory often gets buried under volume. By providing a search interface that reflects how people actually shop, we help customers discover more, faster, and help retailers surface more of what they actually have.
Our Conviction and Our Approach
We want to deliver this improved search capability directly into the hands of retailers rather than building a new marketplace or consumer-facing app, so retailers can offer better experiences in their own platforms and drive stronger results without third-party competition.
Our approach is user-first. Every feature we prioritize is based on real conversations with shoppers. We're actively inviting retailers into this development process through direct calls, emails, or waitlist sign-ups so we can ensure Eliyris meets their actual needs.
What We're Building
Eliyris delivers:
Natural language search: understands aesthetic, context, weather, budget, lifestyle, and occasions
Outfit generation: returns coordinate combinations directly from the retailer's catalog
Retailer-native: no need to change existing product taxonomy or merchandising workflows
Built for scale: especially effective for large catalogs where great items often get buried
Example queries or use cases (no matter how vague or specific):
"Laid back airport outfit that looks good but feels like sweats"
"Outfit for a full day at the office that still works for drinks after"
"Chic all-black outfit that still feels breathable in Miami heat"
"Brunch to beach outfit I can throw on over a swimsuit"
"Lunch meeting > errands > rooftop drinks - need one outfit"
"Packing light - outfits for Paris that layer well"
"Model off duty but on a budget of $100"
"Clean girl aesthetic but not boring"
"Items I can rotate through a work trip and still look different each day"
Where We're Headed
Our next steps are focused on co-developing with retailers who feel the problem most acutely. If you're a brand with a large catalog and see value in helping your customers shop more intuitively, we'd love to talk.
We're currently:
Speaking directly with brands to understand their product discovery challenges
Prioritizing feature development based on retail workflows and shopper interviews
Building our early waitlist and booking conversations with teams who want to shape the next generation of search
If that sounds like you, we'd love for you to join the waitlist, book a call with us, or email the founders directly to hear more about your team and how Eliyris could fit.
